About the Therapist
I'm a queer trans man, I use he/they pronouns.
I take an intersectional approach to counselling, recognising the cultural experiences and social injustices that shape people’s lives. My practice is grounded in anti-racism, affirmation of neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ identities, challenging ableism, and advocating for gender and socioeconomic equality. I aim to provide a non-judgemental space where clients can explore sensitive topics such as gender-affirming healthcare, transition and detransition, reproductive healthcare, kink, sex work, and non monogamous relationships.
I acknowledge the harms many marginalised people have faced when seeking support. I am critical of pathologising frameworks that ignore systemic power imbalances or offer one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I focus on understanding each person’s lived experience, how they have navigated unjust systems, and the impact this has on their wellbeing and sense of self.
I stay informed about sociopolitical and ecological developments and I recognise the distress, anger and hopelessness many feel in response to the times we live in. I offer a space which acknowledges the impacts of climate breakdown, violent systems and disenfranchisement, while supporting clients to find meaning, resilience, and hope.

I am a pluralistic therapist, which means I value diversity and recognise that there is no one right way to offer therapy or engage with it - each person's experience in therapy ought to be as unique as the story they bring. I recognise that each person comes to counselling with their own needs and preferences, therefore I work in a flexible and collaborative way to help create a therapy experience that feels the most supportive and helpful for each person I work with. I draw wisdom and techniques from a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, ACT, feminist therapy, existentialism and creative approaches. I am also trauma-trained and certified, and I always work through a trauma-informed lens.

I charge £55 per session (60 minutes online, 50 minutes in person) I do keep a number of low cost spaces in my practice, however these are currently full. I am able to offer a small discount if clients are able to block-book 4 or more sessions.
