About the Therapist
We can all remember times in our lives when we have felt something was missing. Times where we’ve needed assistance, but not known where to turn. We’ve been overwhelmed or exhausted; confused or isolated; lost and in need of something more that we can’t put our finger on. I am interested in what has brought an individual to the point they’re at currently – what is working for them and what do they want to change. With a warm, person-centred approach I respect the individuality of my clients and help them to find ways to take more control over their lives without judgement or barriers.
- Heterosexual
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy with a focus on Person-Centred and Psychodynamic counselling. I'm passionate about working with people and helping them to realise their potential; building relationships and working together at the client's pace towards a resolution to what has brought them to counselling in the first place.
Working with client's relationships and exploring how they connect with others, I help to find patterns that may re-occur; whether the client is aware of them or not in an open and collaborative environment.
I have worked within the NHS; for the Mental Health Charity Mind; Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies and IAPT service and Newham Bereavement Service as well having my own private practice.

My approach draws on person centred and psychodynamic methodology which I have built up over the last decade of seeing clients.
I want to take the time to get to know each client individually and to walk a little in their shoes to help understand what has brought them to counselling. I work to unpick some of the issues they are facing and how they are manifesting themselves in their daily life. With this knowledge, together we work on understanding the root of these feelings.
