In my work as an integrative psychotherapist, I can help you better understand what is happening in your life right now. You may be struggling with work, with relationships, or have big questions about the future or the direction life is taking. Talking things through and building a reliable and trusted relationship can help you get to know yourself better. We all go through times when everything feels messy and uncertain, but therapy can help you untangle some of the mess, bring you some clarity and help you navigate a way through.
Hi, my name is Lucy, As a non-binary, neurodivergent and queer person I understand the barriers that those of us with identities or ways of life that are often discriminated against can face when seeking and engaging with therapy. I work with adults of all genders and sexualities and with relationship diversities including polyamory and other forms of CNM (consensual non-monogamy). My practice is neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirmative, sex worker allied and kink aware.
I am a counsellor, psychotherapist and psychosexual psychotherapist (in training). I am fully insured and regulated by the BACP and COSRT (student member). I have a number of years experience working both within public sector and for the last 9 years in private practice in Stroud, Gloucestershire. I have been described by my LGBTQ+ and trans clients as ‘knowing us’ which makes me feel humbled and conscious of how priveleged I am to be doing this work and to be allowed access to deepest fears, fantasies, hopes and challenges. I offer a sensitive, aware and sex-positive space that will honour
I became a therapist to help people because life can be hard, and it doesn’t always give us a chance to get our head around what’s happened to us. I offer a professional, down-to-earth relationship to support you while you explore your emotions and experiences. Who I am in the therapy room is who I am in day-to-day life, I hope to show up as my full self and I hope you will feel able to too. I strive to make my practice affirmative and inclusive because I often find that aspects of people’s identity affect their wellbeing. I take
I offer Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy – As a fully qualified and accredited Integrative Therapist, I am here for you. I believe therapy can help people live fulfilling and meaningful lives; to make sense of themselves and the world around them. I offer counselling and relationship therapy, and I am able to provide psychosexual therapy as a student practitioner. I have a particular interest in supporting people exploring their gender or sexuality and offer a sensitive and welcoming service that is informed by my extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ clients as individuals or in relationships. I am kink-aware and offer a safe space to explore kink and fetish as they relate to clients. I also welcome clients who may be in polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous relationships, or relationships between more than two people. I am confident working with neuro-divergent clients and
Whatever your story or background, you should feel valued, respected and heard. Therapy with me is a warm, compassionate space where you will be listened to without judgement. I am a queer, integrative therapist who will work with all aspects of who you are as a person and build the therapy around you and what you need. Together, we can explore the difficulties you’re experiencing now, the struggles you’ve faced in the past and the places in your life where you feel stuck or want to make some changes.
I work with individuals to firstly help you understand yourself authentically.  This means learning about who you are, your behaviour patterns and thought processes. This will enable you to change unhealthy patterns, and relate to others more intimately.
SPACES AVAILABLE You will be coming for therapy because something is wrong for you. If I am working with you as an individual we will together seek to establish what the ‘wrong’ is and therefore look for ways in which you find might a resolution. If you are bringing your relationship we will be meeting to establish what the ‘wrong’ is in your relationship dynamic so that you can move forward. We will be working together collaboratively, in the style of co-researchers where you bring your concerns and life experience and I bring my experience of therapy.
