My identity is non-binary and queer. As a therapist I aim to provide a safe and welcoming space for those identifying as LGBTQIA+ who may have been negatively impacted by experiences of homophobia/transphobia, stigma, discrimination, social isolation, exclusion and rejection to name a few. In our work together I will offer tools of compassionate enquiry for you to explore your feelings, face past traumas and develop more self-acceptance. For 10 years I lived in a Buddhist Monastery and practiced daily meditation as well as embodied mindfulness, which informs and supports my therapeutic work.
As a queer therapist I understand the challenges LGBTQIA+ clients face in this world and hope that in our work you feel safe to explore whatever is coming up for you. I am a warm and empathic person with wide experience in supporting people with their emotional journey, looking to guide them toward a greater understanding of the issues faced in a safe and non-judgmental environment. My way of working is both authentic and kind, encouraging people to speak freely with a good sense of humour for those lighter moments. I use a range of integrative and creative techniques to

I practice as a Creative Arts Therapist in person and online, based in Glasgow. I have been involved in the LGBTQ+ community for over 25+ years as a professional theatre maker, facilitator and community volunteer. I bring my arts background to my therapy work as a safe and caring listener with a curious and playful sensibility. I specialise in working with LGBTQ+ seniors (over 50+) to explore concerns that come with ageing such as menopause, coming out in later life, retirement and self-esteem. I will see and hear you as a whole person living in a world of relationships.
I see psychotherapy as a collaborative process in a safe, accepting space. I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a non-judgmental, confidential environment where you’ll be fully supported in exploring your challenges at your own pace. I’ll work together with you to develop your understanding of what’s happening for you and why, then find ways to help you cope with things from your past or to change how you deal with relationships or challenges now. Together we’ll help you develop new meaning and clarity about who you are and what you want from your life.
I am a relational, integrative therapist working in Bethnal Green, London. I work with individuals aged 18+ in long-term, short-term and open-ended therapy. I am queer and genderqueer. My practice is actively queer and trans affirmative, which means that I support clients’ agency to define themselves. I work with LGBTQIA+ clients on a range of emotional and relational experiences, including: abuse, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, gender, isolation, loss, relational trauma, relationships, self-harm, sex, sexuality, trauma and more.
I am experienced and easy to talk to, and work with empathy and acceptance of difference, and the struggles we face in being human. This is my foundation as a psychotherapist. My focus is on appreciating each person’s emotional landscape, and attending to aspects that may be causing difficulty. I have identified as lesbian/gay/queer since I was 20 and lived as part of London’s diverse queer scene since then. I am familiar with the pleasures and pains of being LGBTQ+, and the changing cultural terrain.
