Adrian Stones
About the Therapist
I work with LGBTQ+ adults who want a space to slow things down and make sense of what has been shaping them. This isn’t about performance or quick answers — it’s about noticing patterns, understanding experience, and opening up more choice at a pace that feels manageable.
I bring a relational, trauma-aware sensibility to our work. Some people arrive feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, shame, or disconnection; others want to name or explore identity, intimacy or relational patterns. You don’t need to explain or defend your experience here — we can attend to it together without judgement.
I have particular experience with gay men and trans people, and with themes such as internalised homophobia, coming out, body awareness, sex and intimacy, chemsex, anxiety, and shame. My aim is to support you in developing a kinder, more reflective relationship with yourself and others.
