Since qualifying, I have spent four years working as a Counsellor for both Crossreach, Glasgow and two years with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Foundation, Manchester. Prior to my counselling career I was employed within the homeless sector and a Macmillan Cancer Support funded programme. I have been working in private practice as a counsellor for the past 7 years with a wide variety of clients. Â
My Qualifications and Memberships: • BA in Social Sciences • Diploma in Counselling • Certificate in Sexual Minority Therapy • COSCA Supervision Certificate • I am also a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups). I have completed shorter CPD courses on topics such as Attachment, Autism Awareness, Deaf Awareness and Cancer Awareness.
