AJ Goodlad - Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversity Therapist & Coach

Hi, I'm AJ Goodlad, an intersectional neurodivergent Queer Person-Centred Psychotherapist, Counsellor (MBACP, Advanced Practitioner) and Neurodivergent Coach. 

My work is trauma informed, gender affirming, neuro affirming, kink and sex positive. My approach is friendly, soft, warm and empathic, with a passion for client autonomy and empowerment. Working Online (video, voice, therapeutic email, instant messaging) or telephone. Weekly, fortnightly or Single Session Therapy meetings available. My clients have many differing intersections, with a variety of lived experiences, choosing to work together long or short term.

I have over a decade of experience supporting clients experiencing dysphoria/gender incongruence. Within my role as a Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversity Therapist (GSRDT), clients have worked with; Depression, Stress, Anxiety, Suicidal Thoughts, Abuse, Guilt, Shame, Sensory Overwhelm, Loss, Burnout, Dysphoria, Masking, Unmasking, Understanding Neurodivergence Diagnosis, Health and Surgical Considerations, Polyamory, Coming Out, Relationship Issues, Identity as some examples.

You won’t experience the burden of educating me, I understand. I bring with me a rich background in supporting and advocating within LGBTQIA+, disabled and neurodivergent communities and clients for 20+ years. This includes disability rights and health advocacy, specialist queer services like Galop and London Friend, and gender-based violence advocacy support.
