About the Therapist
I am empathetic, kind, and non-judgmental, always striving to understand my clients' experiences. Anti-oppression is at the heart of my practice. While I may occasionally challenge your patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving, working through these challenges is often key to fostering positive change. Together, we can rediscover parts of yourself that may have been hidden beneath life’s pressures, helping you move away from the "shoulds" and make space for your authentic needs.
I offer both online and in-person sessions at two locations through The Practice Rooms: primarily in Greenwich (near Cutty Sark and Greenwich stations) and a secondary location in Islington (near King's Cross Station). Whether you're uncertain about therapy or ready to begin, you can choose between short-term therapy (14 sessions for individuals, 10 for couples) or open-ended therapy, depending on what best suits your needs.Â

A typical treatment plan begins with "decontamination"—helping you identify and start to break free from unhelpful patterns. Through thoughtful enquiry, we’ll map out how you operate, bringing awareness to areas of difficulty. I may then encourage you to experiment with new behaviours, helping you move past stuck points. Therapy may also involve exploring your childhood to deepen your understanding of who you are and why. In fact, some of our difficulties may stem from early experiences or existential questions. In longer-term work, the strength of the therapeutic alliance built over time will allow for deeper inner work—what I call "deconfusion"—where we process difficult emotions and experiences together.

I charge £60 for individual sessions (50 minutes) and £75 for couple sessions (60 minutes). If you're considering long-term therapy, the first 4 appointments are offered at 50% of the listed rate. This gives us both time to assess whether we're the right match for each other and if my approach resonates with you.
We can begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation, or a video call if that’s more convenient for you, to discuss your needs. During this time, I’ll ask a few questions, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions of your own and determine if we’re a good fit for working together. If we decide to proceed, our first session will include an assessment to gain a better understanding of your experiences and goals.
Feel free to reach out to schedule an appointment or ask any questions. I look forward to getting to know you.
