Hello, this is Sofia from Amalthea Therapy. I am a warm, needs-informed and inclusive psychotherapist dedicated to diversity and equality across race, culture, ability, gender, and sexuality. Individuals of all ages and backgrounds are warmly welcomed to my practice.

My training is Integrative and my approach is Pluralistic, which means that I draw on a range of therapeutic thinking and models (Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Art Therapy, CBT etc) in order to accommodate the individual needs of the person I work with.

My approach is open and respectful, creating a safe space for clients to explore their concerns at their own pace. Sessions are offered in English or Greek.

Experience and approach:

Since qualifying as a Therapist I have worked in various settings with neurotypical and neurodivergent adolescent and adults, and I have vast experience in working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, gender identity and other. I also have extensive experience in supporting psychotherapy and counselling trainees during their studies.

My style is open and respectful of my client and I hold a space for them, where they will be heard and where they may explore any issues they bring, at a pace that is comfortable for them. I can work with you in English or Greek, online via Zoom.
