Hi, I’m Joey. I’m a neurodivergent, queer, and gender-diverse psychotherapist with a wealth of experience working in a variety of settings. I currently work online.

I practice as an integrative psychotherapist, specialising in psychodynamic and person-centred approaches. My work is trauma-informed and experiential, and I often bring in somatic practices or creative methods where they feel supportive. With a particular focus on childhood trauma, I also have extensive experience in working with depression, anxiety, sexuality, relationship issues, and everyday challenges.

As a Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) therapist, I offer a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as those who are kinky and/or in open relationships. My approach is sex-positive and non-judgmental, creating space for you to explore your identity, relationships, and experiences with openness and support. I recognise the uniqueness of every person and tailor therapy to your individual needs and preferences. My style is grounded in creativity and attunement, with a deep respect for your pace and rhythm.

I offer a safe, empathic, and confidential space where you can explore your story and any difficulties you are experiencing, without judgement. Together, we can reflect on how your history has shaped you, and create new insights into your experiences, thoughts, and embodied feelings. Therapy with me is a space to discover your way of being, your voice, and what makes you feel whole - the person you want to be. In this process, you can deepen your self-understanding, connect to your needs and desires, and work towards a more integrated sense of self.
