Cassandra Malaise
About the Therapist
Hello, I'm a non-binary, pansexual, integrative psychotherapist registered with the BACP & NCPS. I am based in London, providing compassionate and LGBTQIA+ affirmative support to adults of all gender identities. In my practice, I offer a safe and empathic space where you can explore your challenges and work towards healing.
I specialise in gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity (GSRD), and my approach is trauma and kink-informed. Whether you're feeling stressed, lonely, or overwhelmed, I am here to help.
Sessions are primarily online through Zoom. I offer short- and long-term counselling and psychotherapy tailored to your needs. As a warm, empathetic, and open-minded counsellor, I am dedicated to creating a confidential environment where you will be heard, accepted, and supported.
Together, we'll embark on a journey to explore your hopes, goals, dreams, and the areas where you may struggle. I aim to support you in discovering your authentic self and working towards creating the life you desire.
By reaching out, you demonstrate strength and take the first step towards healing. Please feel free to drop me a line—I am here for you. Let's start by creating a safe space for you to explore the challenges you are facing.
It'll assist you in identifying and breaking through underlying barriers, triggers, and blocks, helping you gain more awareness of your needs and embracing your past, present, and future.

As a counsellor, I embrace an integrative approach primarily rooted in the Rogerian person-centred method. I believe in tailoring my therapeutic approach to meet each client's unique needs. While Rogerian person-centred therapy forms the core of my practice, I also draw on psychodynamic, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and MCBT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) modalities when deemed beneficial for the client.
As a highly relational therapist, I establish a trusting and open relationship with each individual. This relational emphasis has been a cornerstone of my journey as a counsellor, which spans four years of dedicated work in private practice, specialising in supporting individuals within the Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) and LGBTQIA+ communities.
