As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, and a person centred counsellor, I focus on who people are, and the experiences that have shaped them, the labels they
I’m Max (he/him), a queer counsellor working with LGBTQ+ adults who feel disconnected – from community, from relationships, from themselves. I work online and in-person in King’s Cross and Croydon. I particularly understand the “am I queer enough?” question, the exhaustion of masking, and the isolation that comes from navigating spaces that weren’t built for you. I also work with creative professionals dealing with the pressures, precarity, and loneliness of arts work – something I know firsthand from my years in that world before becoming a counsellor.

Thinking about starting therapy can be daunting, so hopefully we can make this first step less mysterious or confusing and enable you to decide if choosing me as your therapist is the right option. I have current in-person availability in St Leonards-on-Sea and online throughout the UK.

Now I am an experienced counsellor but underneath my training
