Hi, I’m Jamie, I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist from the north-east of England in the UK, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), as well as a graduate-chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). With five years of counselling and psychological support behind me, my focus being on those from minority groups, such as those in the LGBTQIA+ community, of which I myself are a part of, as well as those who may fall under the neurodiverse umbrella, diagnosed or not.*
I don’t view the world with heteronormative eyes and I certainly don’t in the therapy room. I’m a therapist passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for people to explore who they are and what they need. I also specialise in working with clients who are neurodivergent or those who who suspect that they are. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can share openly, and feel truly understood. I support LGBTQ+ individuals by embracing their authentic selves and finding confidence in their identities.

My practice is neurodivergent-affirming and anti-oppressive, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your individual needs. I believe everyone, regardless of age or background, deserves the space to be seen, heard, and supported in the counselling environment.

I see therapy as a collaborative process, shaped by the unique relationship we build together. My work is informed by a curiosity about how we live, relate, and make sense of ourselves in the world. I support clients to explore questions around identity, relationships, sexuality, meaning, and personal values, helping them make choices that feel authentic and build connections that matter.
