My name is Pete Connor and I have worked as a counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor for over 35 years in the not-for-profit and private sectors. I work as a generic psychotherapist with specialisms including working with individuals from LGBTQ+ communities and with GSRD issues; sexuality and sexual health; HIV, chronic and life-limiting conditions; life-stages and transitions; death, dying and bereavement.  I work as a UCKP Registered Psychotherapist and Senior BACP Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor from my home in Keynsham and online. Identifying as gay/queer, I offer an LGBTQ+ affirmative approach, integrating humanistic, psychosynthesis and Internal Family Systems frameworks.

I am an integrative relational therapist with a specialism in gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. I offer in-person sessions in central Bristol. As a gay man, I bring my lived experience into the work – without assuming that other LGBTQ+ experiences will be the same as mine. I have experience in working with the trauma and shame which is often linked to our gender and sexual identities, as well as the ways in which our lives are more subtly shaped by our identity within a ‘normative’ society. My approach is affirmative, acknowledging strengths and fostering queer joy. 

Hello, my name is Nate (he/him). I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist offering LGBTQ+ affirmative psychotherapy online. As a Queer therapist, I aim to work in ways that feel emotionally safe, collaborative, and affirming of complexity and difference. I have particular experience working with Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), sexuality and intimacy, relational trauma, psychosexual concerns, and emotional or mental health difficulties. My approach is relational, exploratory, and grounded in creating a thoughtful therapeutic space.
