My name is Gustavo and I am an integrative Psychotherapist in London working short and long term with individuals and couples in person and online. As a multi ethnic foreign living in the UK for several years I have personally experienced feelings of otherness, prejudice and the desire to belong. These experiences have enabled me to deepen my therapeutic skills working with clients from different countries, gender, cultures, different socio economic backgrounds, ethnic and religious groups.

As an Integrative Relational Psychotherapist my work is grounded is the feminist principles of equality, empowerment, intersectionality and social justice.  During the last 13 years I have worked in women only and LGBTQIA+ spaces providing individual counselling to people who have experienced domestic abuse, childhood sexual abuse, emotional neglect and trauma.  I have extensive experience working with bereavement and loss having worked as a Counsellor in a Bereavement service for many years.   I tailor my theoretical knowledge, clinical experience and therapeutic skills to find a collaborative way of working with you in order to identify the heart of the

I offer a supportive, affirming space for you to explore and understand your experiences and feelings, and navigate a way forward that feels right for you. I have particular experience with relationship issues, navigating difficult family and friendship dynamics, trauma, and identity exploration (largely LGBTQIA+, ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD). My practice is client-centred and collaborative, and takes an intersectional, trauma-informed approach.
