I’m Naomi. I identify as part of the LGBTQIA + community and use she/they pronouns. I trained as a therapist in Melbourne, Australia. Themes I have trained in and work with include grief, anxiety, depression, alcohol & drugs, cross-culture counselling, neurodiversity, trauma, family and relationships. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the food industry as a start-up founder and then as a marketing and branding manager and consultant for other start-ups. I have also written a cookbook.

My work touches on the deep traces of cultural, intergenerational and early childhood trauma. I have conducted an infant observation for experiential study of primitive states of mind. My personal background makes me sensitive to the collective wounds of war and totalitarianism. My personal spirituality is based on meditation and silence. I have an interest in accompanying people who experience spiritual emergence and crisis. I spent years studying C G Jung’s Red Book as a source for depth psychology.

Counselling/Psychotherapy can help us understand better how we behave, what motivates us, and how past experiences can affect current behaviour. By expressing whatever is uppermost in our mind, feelings, thoughts, wishes, fears, memories and dreams can be explored within the safety of the therapeutic relationship.
