My name is Alexandra. I am a proud Black genderqueer, autistic, lesbian womxn with Epilepsy, an invisible disability. As somebody who holds intersectional identities and faces oppression on a daily basis, I offer a safe space for my clients to be their true selves, to process and explore their experiences and issues.

I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and CBT Counsellor with training in Transpersonal Psychology and Therapeutic Group Facilitation. I am currently working towards a qualification in Psychedelics Assisted Psychotherapy. I believe we can heal from trauma. We have an innate healing intelligence, but things can get in the way of getting in touch with. I view therapy as a supportive, collaborative, creative process that creates the right environment for that innate healing intelligence to bring about emotional healing. I’m Jen (she/her), a queer HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist working therapeutically with sexuality, gender and relationship diversity. I have been working in mental health services for 10 years and have expertise in a wide range of difficulties, including low mood, anxiety and self-esteem. I work with individuals navigating relationship and identity issues (including LGBTQI+), life transitions and grief and loss. I also have extensive experience working with people living with HIV and sexual health difficulties. 

I work in Private Practice from Farringdon and New Cross Gate. I identify as queer and genderfluid. ​ After starting my working life as an actor, I began my counselling journey over 30 years ago as a Samaritan volunteer and spent 10 years working as a Counselling Supervisor at ChildLine. I managed METRO charity’s LGBTQIA+ Counselling service for 11-25 year olds, as well as being responsible for covering the adult service. I am a qualified Gestalt psychotherapeutic Counsellor practising in Central and South London and online.​ If you are struggling with self-confidence, low mood, or feel lost or stuck, counselling can offer you a supportive space to develop your understanding of yourself, and help you become reacquainted with parts of yourself that may feel inaccessible. I have a particular interest in supporting clients to develop self-esteem and awareness, including those who identify as neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
