I bring not only professional training but also personal insight into the challenges of navigating spaces that may not always affirm your full self. I understand the emotional weight of seeking belonging and the courage it takes to move toward self-acceptance. This lived experience allows me to hold a compassionate, affirming space for others on their own journeys. I am here

My name is Caro. I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience working in diversity and inclusion.   I’ve helped people manage workplace stress, sort out who they are, explore coming out, work through the complexities of gender transition, grieve for their parents and partners and pets, shout their way through anger and frustration, and address their addictive behaviours.   I offer therapy face to face, online via Zoom or WhatsApp, and by phone.

I’m an integrative counsellor, which means I tailor my approach to your needs as an individual. I will use various elements of different techniques to find what is right for you, and this might include drawing on person-centred or psychodynamic therapy, as well as other types of therapy. Hi my name is David and I’m a Person Centred Counsellor and Therapeutic Supervisor. I am also an accredited member of the BACP. I started my own private practise in 2019 and since that time most of my work has been supporting other members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Diverse relationship arrangements and lifestyle choices are understood as natural human ways of living.  I specialise in providing effective therapy and coaching for neurodivergent adults, and I train other therapists to do this, too.
