I have space in person on Tuesday 12pm and 3.30pm and online on Thursdays.​​ I am Jen, a person-centred therapist working in person and online with clients who are LGBTQIA+ and GSRD. I am a proud member of this community and identify as trans non-binary and queer. My heart is with working with queer clients, and my experience of being othered allows me to relate to and empathise with a range of experiences in the LGBTQIA+ community.

I believe that a warm, genuine and non-judgmental relationship is the most important element of any therapy and at the very heart of the way I approach working with my clients and this can be especially important for those who may have faced rejection, misunderstanding, hostility or isolation in other parts of their lives.  What you bring to therapy may not relate directly to your gender or sexuality, but being able to talk in a space where you are understood and accepted for who you are, makes it easier to explore the issues that matter to you.

Solution-focused, deep diving into the issue is what we’re going to get up to.  I’ll use creative exercises, worksheets and good old real-life, in-person connection to help you get to wherever it is you’re going.       I’m a humanistic integrative psychotherapist by qualification, but more of a holistic, trauma-informed, neurodivergent coach in practice.  I can hold space for you. As a queer person I know therapy is most effective when you feel safe to bring your whole self to a session. I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist working online. You may be struggling with a specific issue or pattern of behaviour and know already what you would like to talk about. Counselling may be able to offer a fresh perspective, or support you to make changes needed to get you to a better place. I work with people from all backgrounds, in a range of areas. I  have worked closely with male issues and have experience working with gender diversity and LGBT+ issues.
