Hi there, I'm Chris, a cis-gendered gay man and chartered psychologist. As a psychologist, I specialise in all kinds of anxiety (including OCD), depression, panic disorder, trauma, workplace stress, loneliness and disconnection. As a gay man, I have further insights into the impact of shame, internalised homophobia, attachment difficulties and relationship challenges. For many years I have been very engaged with the LGBTIQ+ community, and so have an appreciation of the unique problems and challenges faced in the community.

Experience and approach:

I have been working in private practice for many years in the UK and Australia across diverse populations. I have worked with specific LGBTIQ+ organisations to provide psychological and organisational support, as well as with a private psychiatric hospital.

I'm also an experienced workplace mental health practitioner and coach, helping organisations and individuals to pre-emptively manage mental health.

I use an integrative approach primarily informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and CBT. I am also able to provide EMDR for trauma as a qualified practitioner. Additionally, I use elements of schema therapy and humanistic approaches.
