About the Therapist
About the therapist:
I'm a queer, genderfluid therapist who is passionate about exploring what it means to be authentically ourselves and embracing what that looks like as best we can within the world around us and experiences we have. I offer both in person and online therapy as well as clinical supervision.Â
I work with gender, sexuality and relationship diversity as well as all the intersectionalities that are often experienced as part of what makes us us. Experience and approach:
My foundations are in Psychodynamic theory with an integration of Existential and Transpersonal philosophies, however, as I've developed my practice I've moved towards a more pluralistic approach drawing in training from both Humanistic and Behavioural theories.
I approach each person as individual and explore their experiences and challenges through the lens of their relationships, embodied experiences (including long term and acquired health conditions), where there is meaning and purpose in life and finally, what it means to be an individual with agency and free will in a world that can stifle that.
I have also supported LGBTQ ex-service personnel who were in service during The Ban and worked with the impact that has had on them and/or those they care about. I have experience with working with those who are ex-services who may be coming to terms with returning to civilian life, traumatic experiences or physical changes due to time in service.
If there is anything specific that you are wanting support with then you are welcome to ask about my experience within that particular area and how I might be able to support you within that.

Fees for therapy are set on a sliding scale of between £45 and £75 for a 50 minute session dependent on income.
Fees for clinical supervision are £65 for 60 minutes and £75 for 90 minutes.
I am able to offer trainee counsellors and psychotherapists 50 minute sessions at £45.
I do not offer a reduced rate for supervision of a trainee as this takes into consideration the extra time required for completing documentation and reports for trainee's courses.
I also offer tutoring for trainee's as a qualified and experienced tutor and lecturer in counselling and psychotherapy. Depending on level of training a trainee is at the fee will range from £35 - £65 per 1.5 hours.
