Dr Jennifer Richards
About the Therapist
Life experiences and relationships can sometimes feel confusing, distressing, or overwhelming. In therapy, I aim to offer a gentle, supportive space where we can explore your challenges together.
I believe in the power of compassionate, non-judgemental conversations that can support you to live in alignment with your values and transform how you interact with yourself and the world. My approach is rooted in trust and affirmation of all identities, including sexuality and gender, with change unfolding at your own pace and in ways that feel meaningful to you.

I work integratively across different approaches depending on what is the best fit for you. However, my main approaches are Narrative Therapy, attachment-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Systemic.Â
I have experience working with trans and non-binary clients and with people exploring their gender. I have experience working with people involved with sex work, with chemsex, people living with HIV and sexual health difficulties. I take an affirmative stance to kink, sex work and different relationship structures including non-monogamy.Â
