About the Therapist
My practice is located in Angel, Islington at the Islington Therapy House. I believe in working collaboratively with clients to build an understanding of themselves and to learn strategies to meet their wellbeing goals. This includes integrating evidence-based practice and active skills work within a warm, trusting, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment. You will walk away with new tools and insights to manage your wellbeing.I am trained in several evidenced-based interventions, including CBT, ACT, and DBT. Some areas of speciality include developing coping skills; improving emotion regulation, anxiety, mood and sleep; managing relationships, adjustments, and life transitions; improving performance and achievement; navigating trauma; men’s health; and LGBTQIA+ wellbeing.

My expertise spans complex mental health presentations across the lifespan, with experience in both adult and child community mental health. I have particular interests in LGBTQIA+ health, men’s health, high performance/coaching, anxiety and mood difficulties, stress and burnout, life adjustment, and trauma. I am trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also have specialist experience in assessing and working with individuals with ADHD and ASD and the provision of gender-affirming care.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across diverse public and private mental health settings, including services for children, adolescents, adults, families, first responders, and military personnel. I have worked in both private practice and public mental health.In addition to clinical work, I have a strong interest in supervision, education, and training. I have delivered foundational ACT workshops and guest lectured on clinical assessment, formulation, and working with LGBTQIA+ communities. I also have experience as a supervisor to students, MDT colleagues, and peers.In 2020, I completed a PhD focused on how we understand, classify, formulate, and explain mental disorders. My research has been published internationally.

Sessions are 55 minutes and cost £120 for self-funded individuals and £150 for couples. An invoice will be sent prior to the session with payment details.
