Experience and approach:

My clinical experience includes working in NHS services at South London and Maudsley and Camden and Islington, where I provided psychological therapy for depression, anxiety, trauma and longstanding emotional and relationship difficulties. I have also provided mental health support at King’s College London and worked on a UCL clinical trial of online therapy for depression.

My training includes CBT, schema therapy, DBT, psychodynamic and systemic approaches. I often use CBT because I have seen it help people understand what is keeping their difficulties going and make practical changes. I also draw on other approaches to explore past experiences and relationships, work with longstanding patterns or develop ways of managing strong emotions.

Sessions will focus on what you want help with. You may want space to talk something through, practical help with a problem, or a combination of both. We can decide together what is likely to be most useful.
