Hello, I am Chartered Psychologist and Associate BPS Fellow, bringing NHS and private practice therapeutic experience to my client work. I have expertise in LGBTQI+ and Gender Sexual Relationship Diversity (GSRD) affirmative therapy, neurodiversity (autism and ADHD), and men’s (gay and cis) mental health. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, attachment issues and relationship challenges. I provide trauma informed care integrating ideas from different therapeutic approaches to meet each individual’s unique needs.
As an Integrative Relational Psychotherapist my work is grounded is the feminist principles of equality, empowerment, intersectionality and social justice. During the last 17 years I have worked in women only and LGBTQIA+ spaces providing individual counselling to people who have experienced domestic abuse, childhood sexual abuse, emotional neglect and trauma. I have extensive experience working with bereavement and loss having worked as a Counsellor in a Bereavement service for many years. I tailor my theoretical knowledge, clinical experience and therapeutic skills to find a collaborative way of working with you in order to identify the heart of the issue(s)
Hello, I am a cis-gender gay man, and a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. I aim to help people gain a greater understanding about their difficulties and help them to achieve their goals. I offer a warm and affirming space, whilst drawing upon a range of evidence based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to make sure that the approach best suits your needs and aims. I have experience supporting people with a range of difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma and building resilience.
Hi, I’m David. I’m a qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP. Therapy isn’t about fixing you… It’s about giving yourself the space to understand yourself and reconnect with what’s important. Our sense of self can shift, and sometimes we lose touch with parts of ourselves that have been overlooked or silenced. In therapy, we can explore those parts, reconnect with what matters to you, and find ways to live more authentically—even as that authenticity changes over time.
Sometimes we might feel that things are just getting too much, or we want to look at something specific which is bothering us. Since the corona crisis we needed to adapt to a new “normal”. Feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, anxious, worn out, depressed and stressed are just some of the many ways we might react to what is happening around us and within us. Looking for help is not a sign of defeat, not now and not ever.
You might be used to adapting, explaining yourself, or holding parts of who you are quietly in the background. If you’re feeling tired of that, you’re not alone. I’m a humanistic integrative therapist offering LGBTQ+ affirming online therapy across the UK. I work with people who want a space where they can show up as they are, without having to justify their identity, manage someone else’s comfort or educate their therapist. I offer a calm, thoughtful and affirming space to slow things down and make sense of what’s going on for you.
