About the Therapist
I am a white non-binary trans masculine therapist, and a native Londoner. My practice is based in both East London and Folkestone on the Kentish Coast. I came to therapeutic work after a long career in both London queer nightlife & events, and the film industry. I volunteered throughout the pandemic at ELOP as an Individual, Relationship and Under-18s counsellor, before starting up my own private practice in 2021. My lived experience in queer, trans and poly/kink community has left me strongly invested in anti-racist, accessibility aware, autonomy centred, transcultural, fat positive and kink positive practices.

Each client has their own needs and experiences, and no 'one size fits all' approach can meet our infinite variety, which is why an integrative model allows us to co-create an approach that is supportive and congruent for the client's way of being. I have lived and client experience in Queer, Trans, Poly, Kink, Neurodiverse and Fat communities. I also have experience working with client issues like - Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Relational Issues, Neurodiversity & Masking, Shame, Anger, Internalised Homophobia, Sexual Issues, Self-Esteem and Non-Monogamy / Poly issues, amongst many others. Integrating Person Centred & Psychodynamic approaches means that we can explore the difficulties of the past, and the legacy they have left within us, whilst creating a non-judgemental, intentional space to allow honest self-exploration in the here and now. By integrating the knowledge of the body and its place in holding and processing our instincts, emotions and responses, we can find and connect with unprocessed trauma, and bring it to a place of care and safety. Parts work acknowledges the plurality of the self, that we contain multitudes, and allows us to connect with the conflicting strategies we created to make it through our experiences, and connecting with our reactions, wants and needs.
