Flora Berkeley, she/her, Integrative Therapist, Counsellor, DCounsPsych, MBACP
About the Therapist
People are more unique than a single perspective can contain. My therapeutic approach is integrative which means I'm trained to draw from a broad theoretical basis including humanistic and existential models, somatic and trauma-informed psychotherapies, and psychodynamic and contemporary psychoanalytical frameworks.Â
I work at depth, in an embodied, relational way. This means that I use somatic practices to recognise and explore relational patterns. We’re all formed in and of relationship, and we’ll access this innate capacity for transformation through the relationship we build together.
I’m a sex-positive, queer and GSRD (gender and sexual relationship diversity) affirming therapist. I offer an inclusive, trauma-informed space for clients exploring identity, belonging, and relational complexity. I consider that mental health challenges and neurodivergence can cause people to be disabled in ways that are not visible, and I’m sensitive to the oppressions that you may face because of this.
