I approach counselling with an Integrative style, which means I draw on a number of different schools of practice. I work to create space for people to explore their own thoughts and experiences, while reflecting back what I'm hearing and understanding from them. I work entirely online, using Zoom secure video conferencing, from my home.
I volunteer with two charity organisations as well as maintaining my private practice. I have worked with people of a variety of genders, sexuality, and ages, as well as those who are neurodiverse or neurotypical too. I find people come to me to explore their identity and to understand their experiences in the world. Some people come to talk about their specific experiences of being queer, but others come to talk about other parts of their life but want a counsellor who is able to understand the queer parts too.
