Talking therapy provides a space to explore your experiences and make sense of what’s happening in your life right now. I work integratively, drawing on different approaches to tailor therapy to what works best for you. Sometimes this means exploring thoughts and emotions in the present; other times, we look at past experiences to notice patterns in relationships or self-perception. This process can increase self-awareness and create space for meaningful change.

For LGBTQ+ clients, I also focus on how living in a cisnormative, heteronormative society can unconsciously and consciously add to stress. In therapy, we can explore how societal pressures affect your mental health and how you hold these experiences in daily life.

I have supported LGBTQ+ clients in organisations such as Mind, Arcus LGBTQ+, and Samaritans. I have experience addressing issues including anxiety, shame, navigating gender identity and sexuality, substance use, and the challenges of living authentically in a broader social context.
