About the Therapist
As a queer person navigating the world, I get how important it is to have all aspects of our identity welcomed and accepted in therapy. I offer a space that is affirming, safe and celebratory of the things that make up who you are, which can help create the conditions to work through whatever has brought you to therapy in the first place.
Some of the things I have experience and knowledge in are; childhood trauma, abuse, attachment dynamics, complex mental health difficulties, burnout, neurodivergence including Autism and ADHD/ADD, relationship difficulties, queer and questioning people, polyamory and other configurations of CNM, trans, non-binary people and those with different sexual identities.

I am a trauma informed, attachment based psychotherapist which basically means I work relationally - human to human - getting to the root of whatever difficulties have brought you to therapy. In our work together, we will consider all of your experiences, including the things that happened (or didn't happen) in childhood and how this may be impacting your life now. Of course, we will also work with what is happening in your life right now, helping you to spot unhelpful patterns that show up in relationships with yourself and with others. By working in this way my hope is to empower you to work through the things that are holding you back by making the unconscious more visible and giving you more autonomy in your life.
As a trauma trained therapist, I use neuroscience informed tools to help with regulation to support you to stay in your window of tolerance both in session and outside of sessions. These include breathwork, somatic based tools and limbic system regulation. This can be very helpful for those experiencing panic, anxiety, flashbacks and dissociation amongst other things.
I can work with you either for long term therapy or short blocks of three months where we will focus on a specific issue. I offer sessions once, twice or three times a week and sessions last 50mins.
