About the Therapist
I specialise in working with issues around gender identity, sexuality, sexual desire, compulsive sexual and relationship behaviour (eg. porn, sex), specific sexual practices and sexual functioning difficulties. I also help partners to develop and rekindle intimacy, discover new ways of relating to each other, and support them through life changes, including dealing with affairs and their aftermath. I support partners in negotiating changes to their relationships with consent and respect. I also work with those who are ending their relationship but want to end on good terms.

My therapeutic work is influenced by a range of therapy models, including sexual and relational psychotherapy, psychodynamic, sex-positive, attachment-informed and trauma-informed approaches. I often incorporate Feminist theory into my work as well. Having a sociology and gender studies background, I also like to explore what gender, societal, cultural and/or political pressures are influencing your own experiences of yourself within the many systems that impact our lives.
I consider myself to be an integrative practitioner, and my main aim is to create an inviting and safe space where you are able to bring yourself and feel seen and heard.
As part of my own personal and professional development, I undertake regular training and take part in group supervision sessions in addition to my own one-to-one supervision.
