About the Therapist
Life can be challenging. Sometimes we can be depressed, anxious or feel something isn’t quite right with the way we are in the world. Our emotions and feelings can overwhelm us, and life becomes difficult to enjoy. We may feel that our past experiences affect on how we live right now. Something may feel ‘off’ with in our relationships with families, friends, work colleagues or lovers – or even the relationship with have with ourselves. We may feel stuck in one place unable to change full of frustration and anger. I believe that the counselling can provide the time, space and relationship for you to discover and experience the change you need.
I am interested in how our past can affect our present experience and relationships. And the way in which we have coped with life challenges and our emotions in the past may not be helping us in the present. I believe that therapy can help us to experience our emotions and feelings in a way that is based in reality, leading to a more fulfilling experience of everyday life.

I have worked within organisations concerned with supporting individuals with disability and my counselling experience has been built working with a community organisation providing accessible counselling for LGBTQ people. I adapt how I work to ensure you feel supported while exploring your issues and experiencing change. I have experience of working with individuals who experience a wide range of difference including those who experience all types of discrimination. I work to ensure that my practise is sensitive the the possibilities and limitations that discrimination may cause in life.
