Michael Cotton - Inaro Therapy

I came to this work through my own experience. For much of my life, I lived with a quiet but persistent sense of shame and disconnection. It affected how I saw myself, how I related to others, and how comfortable I felt in my own body. I did not have a clear way to understand it, or shift it.

My introduction to somatic work came through Tantra. That was the first time I began to recognise how much of this was held in my body, not just in my thoughts. I started to see how unprocessed experiences can leave us feeling restricted, guarded, or cut off, even when we want something different.

Working in and through the body created change where thinking alone had not. It allowed space for what had been held for a long time to begin to move.

This continues to shape how I work. I support clients to explore identity, emotional patterns, and relationships through a grounded integration of psychological and body based approaches.

I integrate Polyvagal theory, Internal Family Systems, somatic processing, and bilateral techniques, offering a steady and collaborative space. I work at a pace that feels manageable, supporting you to build awareness, work with the nervous system, and create lasting, integrated change.
