About the Therapist
It's 2a.m. and you feel lost, like you’ve missed years of living and don’t know who you are anymore. Feeling scared, angry, or ambiguous about what’s happened is natural, as is the desire to talk with someone who won’t judge you but wondering how you could possibly trust someone enough to do this. I aim to build a space together where you can explore the life you want to live and where you can get your future back. I work with people who have experienced sexual assault, survived domestic abuse, have a new or evolving health diagnosis, experienced a bereavement, or have recognised that your childhood wasn’t like other people’s. I also have a particular interest in women's health such as endometriosis and PCOS, including the gaslighting and fighting required to be heard in a broken healthcare system. I welcome, and have experience working with, people of different cultures, ages, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and have experience working with ADHD. As a queer bisexual trainee psychotherapist living with invisible disabilities and long-term health conditions I know what it's like to feel different, misunderstood, and physically and mentally drained by life experiences.
I offer a 15 minute free consultation.

I have over 17 years experience working in wellbeing roles which led me to retrain as a therapist, work which I love. I have worked with clients for the last 2.5 years in settings including a Women's Centre and online counselling service. I'm currently completing my MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy.
As a trainee integrative psychotherapist, I adapt my approach according to the client. This includes supporting people who do not know what to say or how psychotherapy works. I use psychodynamic approaches to explore past experiences, somatic models to support emotional awareness and understanding of what clients are feeling in the present, and relational dynamics to help people understand where some of their reactions to themselves and other people originate. I utilise trauma-informed practices to enable exploration of traumatic experiences and anti-oppressive models to understand how trauma is impacted by sociocultural contexts.
