About the Therapist
As an integrative psychotherapist I am able to utilise a range of different theories and approaches to my work, tailoring my responses to your individual needs.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community I believe we face unique challenges and offer a safe space within which to explore whatever brings you to seek therapy.
I believe that the capacity for change lies within the therapeutic relationship.
My background is in education and the arts. I have always been interested in what lies beneath our words and deeds and how we discover who we are through our relationships. Retraining as a psychotherapist allowed me to harness my creativity and to further my understanding of how we individually make sense of ourselves and the world around us.

I have several years experience working within NHS Primary Care where I worked with a range of patients referred to our service by GPs in Surbiton. I also have my own private practice in Wimbledon and Esher, Surrey.
I have worked with a local low-cost charity where long term work afforded people the time and space to explore themselves and their problems in more depth.
Therapy offers a space to explore what is causing you pain and difficulty within a safe, non-judgemental environment. I believe in working together, with you, to listen to your story and to explore your history and relationships, your culture and unique experiences. Working collaboratively we will work to illuminate patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour that might be impacting you in the present.
