Noosh Manduk-Cheyne
About the Therapist
Hello, I’m Noosh. I'm a queer, neurodivergent, Qualified and BACP Registered Person-Centred therapist working online. I offer long/short term individual counselling to adults (18+). I have 20+ years experience supporting and advocating for clients navigating oppression, abuse and trauma. This includes disability rights and health advocacy, specialist queer services like Galop and London Friend, and gender-based violence advocacy support. I have supported clients whose experiences included domestic abuse and sexual violence, hate crime and discrimination, stalking, chems use, "honour"-based abuse, "conversion" practices, and many more complex issues. I have extensive experience supporting clients with communication and processing differences. As a therapist, I’m warm, soft, open and friendly in my approach. I bring my life’s work and lived experience with me into private practice. I want to help you feel safe exploring whatever has brought you to our sessions. Our work is confidential and you choose what you want to talk about. I won’t tell you what to do or offer advice, as I believe you hold the answers within you. I’ll be by your side, working to create the best environment to support you in your process. My clients in private practice have many differing intersections, with a variety of experiences, walks of life and cultures. I’m curious about power dynamics and how this can impact a person’s experience of themselves, identity and relationships. I’m open to working with arts in sessions should you choose (you may want to bring poems, drawings, sculptures, or other objects). This is not mandatory, but an open invitation.
Some feedback from clients;
"I would definitely recommend Noosh to anyone who needs an empathetic, accepting space to process life events and feelings.”
“Having a space to sort through my thoughts and feelings, [made] them easier to understand and more manageable. Noosh is always so kind and supportive, and really helped me sort through all my jumbled thoughts and feelings.”
“Noosh has helped me so much over the last years. Before this I had had several difficult ... experiences with counselling and I know first hand what a challenge it can be to find someone who can professionally hold non-judgemental space while also bringing care to the work. Noosh is an excellent counsellor and a caring listener. I've never once felt judged during a session and I've had the rare experience of feeling free to express myself..”

As a Person-Centred therapist, I believe that you are the expert in your own experience. I offer both long and short term support, and will accept you for who you are and whatever you bring to therapy. Each person is unique and may have differing reasons for being drawn to counselling. Maybe you’re experiencing feelings of unhappiness, anger, confusion, trauma and/or anxiety. Perhaps you wonder how it could feel to be accepted by another person for who you are. You may feel you need to hide parts of yourself, or your experience. Perhaps you wish to see what it's like to tell someone what you're really feeling and experience being truly heard. I can offer you a space to explore this within our therapeutic relationship. I’ll offer you empathy, unconditional acceptance, warmth and a genuine non-judgmental relationship.
