Rachel Yarrow
About the Therapist
My role is to be alongside you as you encounter current issues, past pain, as you learn more about yourself, your relationships and develop the courage and skills to make positive changes and empowering decisions.
I believe we all have the ability to realise our potential and live a life full of rich abundance. Together we can uncover this potential and discover who you can be.
I work with individuals and with couples. Our work can be indoors or I offer outdoor Walk and Talk. I offer a reduced fee, no obligation initial meeting and consultation. Here we can meet to explore whether I offer what you are looking for.

Warmth and compassion are central to my work, alongside giving you the space to understand more about yourself, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I have extensive experience working with diversity and difference and am committed to offering a theraputic space to those who identify as neurodivergent and/or LGBTQIA+.
As well as being a fully qualified and registered counsellor, I also bring a wealth of life experiences to my work. I have spent over 30 years working and volunteering with vulnerable children, young people and adults, supporting them in discovering the very best they can be. Through my social work career I have developed a strong empathy and understanding of the impact of life difficulties, trauma and loss upon individuals and families. My experience includes working with adults with mental health difficulties, young people and adults with autism, young people in care, disabled children and young adults and parent carers.
I came to counselling initially as a journey of self discovery and discovered that I have an ability to support others with theirs. I relish the opportunity to be alongside others as, together, we uncover all of our possibilities.
