Hello, I’m Tris, I’m a Queer, Autistic, Disabled, white therapist. I offer online sessions using an anti-oppressive framework. For me, the personal is political and it has a place in the therapy space. I offer a free 30 min introductory chat, where we talk about what brings you to therapy, how I work and if those are compatible. You are hoping that it will go away, if you keep trying the same patterns of coping, if you just try hard enough. You fear the future and wonder how you will explain yourself to the people close to you. You feel like you have lost an important part of who you are.

Coming to therapy can be a daunting enough experience, without having parts of our identity stigmatized, infantilized, and misunderstood. I aim to create an understanding and warm environment where you can show all the parts of yourself free from judgement or having to explain basic terminology. I bring compassion and humour to the therapy space, and hope to build a collaborative and nourishing relationship with you, centering your unique experiences and perspective on the world.

I’m Vivienne, a Bristol based therapist who also works online. I have a friendly, gentle and conscientious approach. I understand that it can be difficult to speak about very personal thoughts and feelings and I create a space that feels safe to do this. Hi, I’m Jess. I offer ISTDP and IFS-informed therapy from my office in Bristol BS5, 10 minutes from Lawrence Hill Station.   ISTDP is an emotion-focused, trauma-informed and attachment-based approach with very positive research outcomes. I combine this with some IFS techniques and a gender and relationship diverse affirmative practice to bring lasting change to people struggling with anxiety or internal difficulties.

It has allowed me to be comfortable with myself, to set boundaries,  communicate more effectively, advocate for myself and surround myself with relationships that serve me and bring me joy. I consider it a sign of enormous bravery that you’re thinking about therapy and showing up differently in the world. Some of the things that people come to see me most frequently about include sex, kinks and non-monogamy, their relationships to their bodies, to themselves and to other people. I also work a lot with emotional distress, traumatic experiences and shame.
