About the Therapist
Hi, I'm Dickie.
I am an integrative therapist and counsellor working both within the charitable sector and in private practice. You don’t have to have it all worked out; even the subtlest feeling that something isn’t right is a great starting point.
You might feel lonely, anxious or depressed. Isolated or stuck in repeating patterns that leave you frustrated and disconnected. For many of us, that shame can sneak in just when you don't need or want it. The effect of this landing in our bodies can be so difficult.
My practice offers a warm, non-judgemental space where every part of you is welcome, the depressed to the bereft, and even that amplified inner voice. I love my work and have an integrative and relational approach, with a focus on how each part of us is formed and its environment. I draw on psychodynamic, attachment theory, existentialism, person-centred, gestalt, and somatic approaches, tailoring therapy to meet your needs.
Together, we’ll explore what’s happening for you, gently untangle old patterns, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Sessions are available online or in person in Angel/Clerkenwell (EC1V) or Hackney (E8), with an initial consultation to see if this feels right for both of us.

I am BACP-registered integrative therapist/counsellor, trained at the Minster Centre, one of Europe’s leading institutions for Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. I’ve worked across numerous services and private practice, from East to North West London, and online. These have been in a range of settings, some with complex presentations and others focusing on cultural, gender, sexuality, relationships, family issues, low confidence, and neurodiversity, etc.
I like to see the client from where they arrive and begin to make sense of their world. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach, hence the extensive integrative training. I use a multitude of different theories, including Psychodynamic, Existential, Attachment Theory, CBT, Gestalt, Humanistic, and somatic theories, to support my client's journey.
I offer an LGBTQIA+ sex-positive space that welcomes diverse lifestyles, cultures, and relationship choices, both online and in person, in Hackney and Islington.

I offer weekly 50-minute sessions, either online or in person, in Hackney/Islington.
Sessions are £70, and I hold a small number of concession spaces depending on personal circumstances.
To begin, I usually suggest a free 15-minute introductory call. This gives us a chance to talk about what brings you and answer any questions. From there, we can book an initial session to see how it feels and whether working together is the right fit.
