Together we will look at the causes of your difficulties and explore ways to deal with them in a safe and confidential environment . This might be the first time that you will experience what it is like to be really listened to and heard without judgment . Counselling therapy is different than talking with friends and partners as there are no links with your day to day life or your life in general.

I believe that counselling therapy has the potential to unlock doors that have kept you stuck and unable to move on.

I will be alongside you in a supportive and caring role , if you imagine you are driving a car I will be in the passenger seat so you are the one driving and making meaning of the roadmap that you have created whilst I can help you with navigating the more complex and difficult aspects of the road .

I hold a Masters Degree (MA) and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. These qualifications are accredited by Middlesex University.

I am an IFS ( Internal Family System) practitioner Level 1 and 2

IFIO ( Intimacy From the Inside Out ) and Advanced Sexuality IFIO for couples and relationships

I have an EMDR certificate Level 3 from Richman Training which is approved by the European EMDR institute as well as a Laurel Parnell Attachment- Focused EMDR certificate

I also hold a Professional Mindfulness Teacher Certificate from MTI ( Mindfulness Training Institute)

Experience and approach:

Being “integrative” means that I work in a way that suits each particular person and their issues. The approaches I work with are humanistic, psychodynamics and relational. I also use IFS ( Internal Family System ) , EMDR ( Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ) , mindfulness and body therapy (specifically breathing) as well self compassion as it is important to start with yourself .

I am very interested in the latest theories and mindfulness and compassion practices and I have a good understanding of neuroscience and trauma in relation to therapy.

I offer IFS and EMDR which has been shown to work well with trauma related issues including PTSD and early childhood trauma .

I am a registered member the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a registered member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). I follow their code of ethics and I am committed to working with people of varied cultural backgrounds and sexualities including LGBTQ +, POC and Pol
