My name is Stuart and I am straight male. I am neuro divergent with a long term invisible disability. I am in a long term relationship but used to be poly & kink. I am a half Jewish Taoist with a fascination for different faiths and cultures, and have studied ethnicity and culture at University with key courses written by authors including Stuart Hall and Judith Butler. Before a serious injury I used to teach mixed martial arts, and I still enjoy swimming and walking. I am nuts about animals and currently have 4 fur-babies of the feline variety.

I gained NACHP accreditation in Counselling, CBT, Psychoanalysis and Hypnotherapy in 1999 I have a Level 7 Post Grad equivalent diploma in C-PTSD I have a MSc Psychology specialising in Identity, comparative models of psychology and Neurology I have 3 Bachelor degrees including a BA(Hons) in Psychology and Philosophy of the mind specialising in cultural identity and different philosophies of psychology. I Have 5 different specialist Clinical Certifications in Trauma Treatment CCTP I CCTP II CCTS I CCFM Hypnosis and Neurology informed treatment I have additional specialist Certifications in: Advanced Grief Therapy Anxiety Depression & Mood Disorders ADD and Neuro-Diversity Autism Spectrum Anger management DBT and RO-DBT for Personality Disorders ACT Clinical Mindfulness

Hi, I'm Stuart. I am a trauma specialist based in Edinburgh. I specialist in C-PTSD, ACE, PTSD and the comorbid conditions like anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders and depression that often coexist with trauma. I use the 3-stage trauma method as recommended by most leading experts, and which adheres to NICE treatment guidelines. I have completed multiple post graduate, post qualification Specialist Certifications in Trauma (6). Also in Anxiety, Grief, Depression, Mood disorders, and ADD. I am also an autism spectrum specialist and am neuro divergent myself. I have 29 years experience, most of it working actively with the LGBQ and Kink communities and have completed multiple trainings to be knowledgeable as well as an ally.
Please note I work with sexuality, and not with gender affirmation. Obviously I do not exclude anyone with gender related issues, but I am not a specialist in that area and may not be your best choice.
