About the Therapist
I am a registered member of BACP (reg. number 416496). I work psychodynamically with an interest in how earlier relationships and experiences shape the ways you feel, relate and respond today. Many people come to therapy when they feel overwhelmed, misunderstood or disconnected from themselves, or when they have been masking, adapting or pushing through for a long time. You may notice familiar patterns in relationships, identity or emotions but not yet have had the space to understand them. Therapy offers a pause, a place to slow down and explore what is happening both on the surface and underneath it.
My approach is steady, thoughtful and relational. I pay close attention to unconscious processes, repeating patterns and the meaning behind what is felt, avoided or defended against. I also hold an awareness of the wider contexts you move through, including identity, culture, neurodiversity and the social pressures that influence your sense of self and the ways you navigate the world. Together we explore your emotional landscape and the subtle ways the past continues to inform the present.
The therapeutic relationship is an essential part of this work. The connection we build becomes a place where familiar dynamics may quietly show themselves, where unspoken feelings can come into view and where new ways of relating can begin to develop. It offers a consistent, reflective space in which you can be met with curiosity, steadiness and care. Over time, the relationship itself becomes a source of insight and a supportive environment for understanding yourself more deeply.
This is a space for exploring parts of yourself that may not have had room before, especially if you feel stuck, worn down by masking or unsure why certain patterns keep resurfacing. Through this collaborative process, understanding grows gradually and new possibilities can begin to take shape.

I have experience working with people exploring identity, relationships, trauma, anxiety, burnout and the longer-term impact of early relational environments. I work extensively with LGBTQ+ clients and with neurodivergent adults, including autistic and ADHD clients who may be navigating masking, sensory overwhelm, emotional intensity or the sense of feeling “out of step” in relationships. I pay close attention to how neurodivergence shapes communication, attachment, boundaries and the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself, as well as how sexuality, gender and cultural background influence your inner world.
My approach is psychodynamic and relational. We explore the emotional threads, unconscious processes and repeated patterns that shape how you respond to others and to yourself. I hold in mind the environments you grew up in and the systems you move through now, including the sensory, social and cultural pressures that have influenced how you cope. Many neurodivergent clients come with histories of adapting, over-managing or misreading cues in order to get by, and these experiences are worked with thoughtfully rather than pathologised.
I adapt my way of working to meet neurodivergent needs, whether that’s adjusting pace, allowing more processing time, offering clarity when useful or reducing sensory load through predictable structure and grounding transitions. These adjustments are woven into the work in a way that keeps it steady, reflective and emotionally rich.
The therapeutic relationship is central. It offers a consistent, reliable space where familiar dynamics can unfold safely and gradually be understood. Over time this helps make room for parts of yourself that have felt obscured or tightly held, supporting a more grounded and coherent sense of self.
