Neil Turner MA
About the Therapist
Back in the 80s, 90s I trained and worked as a Designer before retraining as a Psychotherapist.
I offer integrative Psychotherapy with a modern and creative approach. I draw on different models and have a relational approach, which means we discuss you and your life together. I don’t silently observe you. Instead we work collaboratively to best understand what is causing you to feel stuck, unhappy or dissatisfied. I’m interested in what you would really like for yourself, how you’d like to feel and what might be blocking this.
Below is what a recent client offered on completion of our work;
“Neil’s helped me understand so much about myself, particularly how my family set up and past experiences have shaped the person I am and how I’ve been feeling about myself. He’s helped me challenge my own beliefs resulting in a transformation in my self-esteem. I’m the most confident version of myself to date and for the first time in my life I really like the person I am.”

Below are examples of what recent clients have said;
"Through therapy I have learned that all the answers are inside myself, that I have the solutions. I have learned techniques to tap into them and to trust myself and my own insight more. Instead of running away from myself when I am panicking about something, I can now turn towards myself and face the difficulties I might be facing with more confidence.”
"Therapy with Neil has helped me find some order during a very chaotic and difficult period in my life. Simply saying the words helped shine some light, but the real benefit for me was putting structure to my thoughts and feelings. Being in an environment without an agenda and without judgment helped me better understand myself." "Therapy is not just about sitting and listening, it’s about actively choosing to make a change in the behaviors that are bringing you down. While this can be incredibly daunting, I have found that applying the techniques that I learned in therapy have helped me immeasurably."
