Dr Alex Bolster
About the Therapist
Hello, I am a cis-gender gay man, and a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. I combine my lived experience as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, alongside my training and experience to support people with a range of difficulties, such as anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, trauma and identity-related difficulties.
I aim to help people gain a greater understanding of difficulties they may be experiencing, and help them to achieve their goals. I offer a warm and affirming space, whilst drawing upon a range of evidence based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to make sure that the approach best suits your needs and aims.
I can offer online therapy, as well as face-to-face therapy in London and work with both adults and young adults, couples and families.
