About the Therapist
Dr Trish (Chartered Clinical Psychologist)
My area of speciality and interest is Health Psychology; that is the intersection between your physical health and your emotional health, and how they both influence each other to either enhance or detract from your sense of well-being. I am also able to work with relationship difficulties, and common mental health concerns, such as stress, anxiety, and depression.
I offer free discovery calls of up to 15 minutes to give you an opportunity to talk to me, briefly describe the problem(s) you want to work with, and any other therapy-related issues, to help you decide if you would like to proceed to a paid assessment with me.
Video call appointments are via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet apps, on Mondays only, between 3pm and 7pm (last session finished by 8pm).

I have worked within a variety of NHS and statutory mental health services for over 20 years, and I have been a qualified psychologist much of this time. I have worked privately since 2020, alongside my NHS roles.
I have been trained in and have experience of delivering a variety of psychological approaches/therapies, including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Systemic/Narrative Therapy.
Regardless of the problem we are working on, and the psychological approach I use to help you deal with your problem, I am always sex-positive, LGBTQ-friendly, kink-friendly, and aware of the impact of class, culture, race and gender on an individual from any background.
