Hi! I’m Corinna. Clients describe me as compassionate, calm and relatable. I mostly work with queer clients in their 20s and 30s. I work with a range of issues and have a particular interest in self-compassion. I work both online and face-to-face in central Manchester. If you think I’d be a good fit for you, get in touch!
Hello, I’m Karen. I work with people who want to feel more resilient in the face of life’s challenges; to let go of anxiety and relish what’s good in the moment; to love fearlessly; and to trust their inner compass in navigating whatever joys and difficulties the future brings. My Person-Centred approach prioritises your unique experience over any psychological theory – especially useful for people whose lived experience has been marginalised and discounted in the dominant cultural narrative. I’m a cis white woman – currently straight and ability-privileged – who practices BDSM, and I affirm gender, sexuality and relationship diversity.
I’m Elizabeth and I’m an experienced counsellor and supervisor specialising in working affirmatively with gender, sexual and relational diversity. For five years I managed a counselling service for LGBT Health and Wellbeing in Glasgow, and now work with them as a group supervisor for volunteer counsellors in Edinburgh. I am a trustee on the board of directors for Kaleidoscope Counselling. I also volunteer as a pregnancy and birth companion/doula with Amma for people that would otherwise give birth alone. I am trained to work with the uniqueness of each individual in whatever they are experiencing. However, the stuff I often work with includes: anxiety depression shame relationships – all types co-dependency
I am excited to work with anyone who is curious about themselves and the world. I enjoy facilitating self-understanding and compassion. It is important to me that the environment of our work holds a safe space for people to bring all that they are. I am interested in working with all sorts of clients of any age or background, with a particular interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. My space is also safe for people who wish to discuss their issues with body image in a space where they will benefit from a body neutral approach.
I see therapy as an opportunity to explore, to challenge, and to develop new ways of being and relating. I engage with my clients in a real, authentic way, and invite them to do the same with me. I’m an experienced UKCP accredited Psychotherapist with over 14 years experience working in a range of mental health services. I’ve supported many people in leading richer and more rewarding lives. I work in a way that is open, honest, supportive and allows for lightness and challenge. Take a look at my website for more information about how I work.
