I am Milo and I am a queer, trans nonbinary, neurodivergent counsellor working online. I am person-centred at my core and approach topics like gender, sexuality, kink and non-monogamy in a gentle and non-judgmental way. No matter what brings you to counselling, I am here to provide you with a safe and supportive space to help you explore what is going on for you. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to book a first session with me. I look forward to hearing from you.
Welcome! My name is Ryan and I am a fully-qualified clinical psychologist registered with the HCPC. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where we can think together about the challenges you are currently facing. The approach we will take depends on what brings you to therapy and how therapy works best for you and we will navigate this together. I have extensive experience supporting individuals faced with a spectrum of challenges including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, addiction, psychosis, and relationship issues. I also have experience supporting people holding various intersections within the LGBTQIA+ community, including
I aim to support you in improving your quality of life, whatever this means for you. It could include more fulfilment at work, a richer life outside of work, stronger connections with others, healthier intimate relationships, or a better sex life. We will work together to identify what you hope for and what stops you from getting it. I will support and challenge you to work through unfinished business from the past, resolve unprocessed emotions, and develop your awareness to live your life more closely in line with what matters most to you.
As an LGBTQIA+ psychologist from Tahiti and France, I am passionate about providing therapy that is culturally sensitive and empowers everyone to lead more fulfilling, vibrant and authentic lives. I help clients understand how the past informs current patterns, develop coping skills to process difficult feelings, and grow the internal strengths and resources that we all hold. I work with people who experience a wide range of emotional, contextual or relational challenges. I also have specialist training in OCD and Trauma. Working in a person-centred and integrative way, I draw on therapies that include acceptance, compassionate, cognitive and exposure-based therapies.
I am a gay therapist, professionally qualified and registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My primary modality is person centred, but I also use CBT and TA modalities. As a gay man, growing up in the 1980’s with the AIDS epidemic and Section 28 as my backdrop, I have felt the effects of being different in a hetero normative society. I understand what it feels like to be oppressed and discriminated against and the feelings of shame for just being me.
I am an experienced relationship counsellor, somatic psychotherapist, group facilitator and sex/consent educator. I work with all relationship configurations (monogamous, poly, open, triads, etc.), as well as friends, (prospective) co-parents, family members and ex-partners. I worked previously as a complex trauma therapist for individuals with histories of sexual abuse in childhood and adulthood, and in queer domestic violence intervention. My work with couples+relationships is based on Emotionally-Focused Therapy (https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/mindful-relationships/202101/the-most-effective-couples-therapy-by-far). These days my main focus is relationship counselling but still offer some individual sessions, as well as supervision/consultation for other practitioners. I facilitate workshops on diverse topics, offer in-person sessions in
