Hi, I’m Chris, an online counsellor offering a warm, collaborative space for you to explore your story on your terms. I’m trained in psychodynamic, person-centred, and CBT approaches, and I believe therapy works best when it’s shaped together.  I’m a gay cis-man and deeply committed to supporting other queer people in building stronger, more compassionate relationships with their identities, stories, and sense of self. I know how powerful it can be to be seen and supported in a heteronormative world. I aim to honour your story, nurture your agency, and help create a space where your full self is welcome.

I work with adults and adolescents who are, for a variety of reasons, dealing with discomfort throughout their daily lives. This can be internal (Who am I? Am I enough? What am I here for?), external or a combination of the above. I work with people like you who are looking for a space to look at what works and doesn’t in their lives, finding patterns and using insight to guide real, meaningful change. You might come to therapy to cope better, to examine your past experiences or to simply gain insight into yourself. It is what we make it.

My name is David, a gay mature man with a great deal of both life experience, and extensive experience working as a counsellor.  Some of my experiences included  working with LGBTQ+ individuals as a counsellor for London Friend.  Helping clients who were struggling with their sexuality, including addressing some unhelpful patterns of behaviour, defences, and challenging core beliefs.  Aiding clients to effectively manage anxiety, self-doubt, shame and relationship difficulties with increased confidence, authenticity and openness.  Gaining new insight with new coping strategies, thus empowering clients to find their inner strength and resilience, therefore, fostering growth.

I am a Swiss-recognised psychologist (PsyCo, Master level) and member of the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP). As a trans woman with more than ten years of clinical experience and eight years of personal transition, I offer a warm and affirming space for anyone dealing with self-acceptance or feeling some distress in relation to their cultural or social environment. My work integrates solid psychological training with my own lived experience, supporting clients in embracing who they truly are.
