Hello there. I’m a sex positive, gay, cisgendered psychotherapist (CBT) and clinical hypnotherapist with nearly 20 years experience of helping LGBTQIA+  people deal with their issues, overcome their obstacles, and lead happier and more fulfilling lives. I see people mainly online, but also face-to-face in central Bristol. I am the author of  The Four Thoughts That F*ck You Up (and how to fix them) – available now from Penguin Random House – and regularly write and deliver webinars and live presentations on all aspects of mental health and wellbeing.
I believe awareness of our intersectional identities is important; I have reflected on my own intersectionality and noticed where my (generally more obvious) privilege is experienced, and where my (more hidden) oppression is experienced too. Without this awareness, I feel there is the danger of re-enacting oppression in the therapy room. I believe the relationships we form with others are not just the key to living a good and fulfilling life, but they are the bedrock for our other life successes… and I look forward to working with you to help you understand your relational needs
