I am a trans psychotherapist, supervisor, author and Clinical Associate for Pink Therapy. For the last fifteen years I have specialised in facilitating people in exploring their gender identity, undertaking social and/or medical transition, and navigating the joys and challenges of a gender diverse life. I believe that you are the expert on your own identity and your own life – my role is to bring a fresh hearing of how you relate to yourself, your experiences and the world so that together we can make sense of it all, and help you live your life as fully as possible.
Hi there – I am Dr Brendan J Dunlop (he/him) and I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Pink Therapy’s Executive Director for Learning and Professional Development.
Hello, I’m Jon. I am a gay / queer cis-man and trans ally with many years’ experience of working as a therapist and counsellor with LGBTQ+ clients at London Friend and LGBT Switchboard Scotland. I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapist (CBT / REBT) and offer a structured, action oriented and compassionate approach to emotional and life problems, personal development and growth. I work both online and in person in south Manchester and am happy to have a free initial 20’ phone consultation so you can see if you would like to work with me.
Welcome, I’m Joy (she/they). I’m a qualified psychotherapist working with individuals and couples online. With particular experience in LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergence & the Performing Arts, I offer a compassionate, sincere and confidential space for individuals and couples to work through their experiences. My practice is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming, which means I am comfortable working with trauma-based and neurodiverse frameworks. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, attachment, bereavement, dissociation and stress. Mostly, though, I am interested in you, and supporting you with the courageous decision to get to know yourself better.
Growing up and existing as a gay, queer or LGBTQ+ person can feel isolating and confusing. I can relate. My sessions provide a safe space to unpack your feelings, reduce anxiety, and start seeing things more clearly. I work with LGBTQIA+ people who are struggling, working things out or need a space to talk. Issues can range from shame, anxiety and depression, to trauma, relationship and family problems, and managing the weight of society’s expectations.
I’m Mark Hamlin, a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and group facilitator. I offer online sessions for individuals, couples and groups. I offer a place to explore life’s challenges, relationships, identity or sexuality without judgement. I bring a grounded, down-to-earth style, blending talking, body awareness and creative approaches. I also provide supervision for therapists and teams and can invoice charities or organisations that fund therapy or supervision.
Hi! I’m Corinna. Clients describe me as compassionate, calm and relatable. I mostly work with queer clients in their 20s and 30s. I work with a range of issues and have a particular interest in self-compassion. I work both online and face-to-face in central Manchester. If you think I’d be a good fit for you, I’d love to hear from you!
Hi, I’m Emma (she/they). I offer therapy that’s warm, inclusive, and grounded in compassion and collaboration. You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, and that’s okay. I work especially with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent folk, creating a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore what’s been going on for you. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in Transactional Analysis, which helps us make sense of patterns from the past that might still be shaping things now. You don’t need to have it all figured out, we can start from wherever you are.
