Hello! My approach to therapy is inclusive, trauma-informed, and rooted in empathy, consent, and warmth. I specialise in issues related to attachment, trauma, relationships, identity (including gender and sexuality), as well as shame and anxiety. My experience includes working with marginalised groups such as LGBTQIA+ individuals, foreign nationals, sex workers, and neurodiverse people. Everyone is welcome. I have over 20 years experience of working with LGBTQ+ communities within mental health and higher education settings.

As I am trans myself, I enjoy working with trans and gender non-conforming young people, whether that’s focused on exploring identity, or other issues. My name is Sabrina (she/her) and I offer counselling from my therapy room in Teignmouth (South Devon) and online, via Zoom. I offer short and long-term counselling. My name is Alison and I am a TA Therapist based in the Eden Valley in Cumbria. I trained at the Northern Guild and have established a busy private practice ever since. I love TA and the way in which we are able to understand the why’s and how’s that we think, feel and behave as we do. Then subsequently working on changing our patterns of behaviour to live as authentically as possible. I am currently in training with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology to become a Psychosexual Therapist. I will qualify early in 2026.
